African-American Literary Festival
The African-American Literary Festival is less than two months away! We're excited about our inaugural event, and hope that you can join us on October 1-2, in Columbia, SC. Below are a few ways you can help us make an impact in the community:

AALF Keepsake Ad Book Reservation:  Promote your books or business by placing an ad in our festival's ad book, which will be distributed to all event attendees, published in our national newsletter, and downloadable through our Web sites: www.sistahfriend.com and www.aalitfestival.com for up to a year.*Note: Proofread artwork must be mailed to marketing@aalitfestival.com after submission of payment. Ads may be created at an additional charge. Submit special requests to marketing@aalitfestival.com.

Pink Diamond Affair:  On the evening of October 1, 2010, the SFBC will host the Pink Diamond Affair, an elegant soiree honoring authors of African-American literature and celebrating all event attendees and participants. The evening will consist of a dinner, a keynote address, an awards ceremony, entertainment, and more. Come be inspired and empowered at the African-American Literary Festival's first event of the weekend! The PDA will be held at the Columbia Conference Center from 7-10pm. Seating is limited.
